Marcus was born and raised in Guangdong, China. After graduated from Johns Hopkins University, Marcus started to work in insurance industry as an Actuary.

Before joining Society of Heart’s Delight, Marcus served on the board as secretary in GAPA (GLBTQ+ Asian Pacific Alliance) one of the oldest Queer API organizations in SF. Marcus wants to build a more just and inclusive community among Chinese Immigrants in the Bay Area or even beyond through Society of Heart’s Delight.

Marcus出生并成长于中国广东。毕业于约翰·霍普金斯大学（Johns Hopkins University）后，他进入保险行业，担任精算师（Actuary）。

在加入愉园社（Society of Heart’s Delight）之前，Marcus曾担任旧金山GLBTQ+亚太联盟（GLBTQ+ Asian Pacific Alliance, GAPA）的董事会秘书。GAPA是旧金山历史最悠久的酷儿亚太裔组织之一。

通过愉园社，Marcus希望在湾区乃至更广泛的华人移民群体中，推动建立一个更加公平与包容的社区。
