This initiative aims to bridge the communication gap between Chinese immigrants and local public safety resources through interviews, community forums, and bilingual outreach. By building trust and understanding, we seek to address key safety concerns impacting the Chinese community — including hate crimes, school bullying, domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.

We’ll tackle language barriers through translation and cultural barriers through open dialogue. Participants include local law enforcement, legal professionals, and public defenders — many of whom are unfamiliar to immigrant communities.
